’m happy to say I have the final version of the Wii Opera browser on my console right now. You can download it too – just go to the Shop Channel and hit that update button.

The simple-looking web browser will be controlled using the Wii Remote’s pointer. A panel across the bottom of the screen appears to include back and forward-page buttons, an ‘eject’ button that presumably exits the browser, and a button with a star on it which we know to be for bookmarks. (New Interface Pictures are also included)

Nintendo of America: “Retailers will either receive a pre-built kiosk including a TV, console and controllers, while others will set up an interactive Wii experience using their own TV. Wireless controllers will be used and we are asking retailers to have staff available to help consumers have a sucessful first experience with Wii.”
